Registered Nurse: Monday - Friday Day Shifts
The Registered Nurse ensures appropriate medical care for the people we support and reside in the Kelberman Individualized Residential Alternative (IRA) homes. The Residential Registered Nurse will provide direct care to the residents and monitor their overall health and safety. The RN will provide oversight and direction to the LPN to perform skilled nursing duties as assigned. The Registered Nurse will provide training, direction, and assistance to direct care staff. The Registered Nurse will communicate and enforce medical policies and procedures; and provide training and oversight to certified staff in the administration of medication.
$7,500 sign on bonus paid over 2 years

Kelberman is a leading provider of autism services for children, adults and families in the Mohawk Valley and Central New York.
Requirements
· Current New York State Registered Nurse license is required.
· At least one-year nursing experience is preferred.
· Travel and transport are required. Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License and require reliable transportation.
· Ability and willingness to travel to various Kelberman locations to perform skilled nursing duties.
· Ability to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity to the physical and psychological needs of the people we support.
